Summer Storytellers

Ages: 6-10 years • 1 hour 1x/week, Monday 4:30-5:30 • June 5th-August 4th (break the week of July 4th) • 8 Sessions / $325.00

Summer Storytellers

Join us for a summer of speech camp where kids will be focused on targeting story telling skills including story retell, reading for details, comprehension, while also targeting sequencing and expressive language development. Each week campers will be exploring a summer theme (beach, camping, etc.) while diving into a story where they will be working together to answer questions and expand vocabulary to create their own stories while building peer interaction and group work skills. This group is lead by a speech therapist and aimed at targeting skills like inferencing, problem solving, creating grammatical sentences, utilizing appropriate pronouns, verb tenses, identifying cohesive story elements, peer work and more!

Rocking Talkers

Ages: 6-10 years • 1 hour 1x/week, Monday 4:30-5:30 • June 5th-August 4th (break the week of July 4th) • 8 Sessions / $325.00

Rocking Talkers

This summer articulation group will aim to improve your child’s speech sound production of the “R” sound. Each week we will strengthen our speech sound skills by learning how to correctly produce the R sound and differentiate sounds by training the ears to hear the sounds correctly. Our group-based activities will be a fun way to increase overall awareness of correct and incorrect sounds. This group will also strengthen phonological awareness skills which will support literacy and pre-reading. Come join us for a fun summer of correcting sounds!

Handwriting Helpers

Ages 6-12 years • 1 hour/ 1x/week, Tuesday 4:30-5:30 • June 5th-August 4th (break the week of July 4th) • 8 Sessions / $325.00

Handwriting Helpers

Help keep your kids writing throughout the summer with this weekly Occupational Therapy group. Every week there will be a fun new theme with different writing and fine motor activities. The therapist will target each child’s individual writing goals with different age-appropriate tasks. This group is aimed at practicing letter size consistency, line placement, letter formation, and spacing. Each family will submit a writing sample and primary concerns to allow the therapist to establish a baseline and goals for every child.

Handwriting Camp

August 5th – 8th • PK – Kinder Camp 9:00-11:00 • 1st – 3rd Camp 1:00 – 3:00 • Cost: $325

Handwriting Camp

Our handwriting camp will use the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum for all campers. Each child will be taught at their individual level and will be provided with activities for home to reinforce new learning. Camp will also include fun fine motor activities to target grasp, fine motor control, visual motor integration, and manual dexterity skills.

Self-Regulation Scouts

Ages 5-9 years • 1 hour/ 1x/week, Thursday 4:30-5:30 • June 3rd-August 2nd (break the week of July 4th) • 8 Sessions / $325.00

Self-Regulation Scouts

Join us for a summer of learning and understanding with the Zones of Regulation. Each week, your child, as a Self-Regulation Scout, will get opportunities to earn badges demonstrating proficiency in many important skills; labeling feelings, understanding Zones of Regulation, and using tools to help with self-regulation. Our goal is for each child to leave with a personalized toolbox of activities that they can use in their daily lives to assist with self-regulation.

SENSEsational Discovery

Ages 4-7 years • 1 hour/ 1x/week, Monday 3:30-4:30 • June 3rd-August 2nd (break the week of July 4th) • 8 Sessions / $325.00

SENSEsational Discovery

This occupational therapy group will allow your child to discover and understand the 8 senses that impact their self-regulation and interaction with their environments. Through hands-on fun and engaging activities, your child will gain a better understanding and ways to manage their senses to encourage success in their daily routines.

SENSEsational Science

This occupational therapy group will use hands-on science experiments to explore your senses more deeply! When we engage with the world around us using our senses, we not only gain a richer experience, but we retain the information and build important pathways in the brain for higher-level learning. Your child will enjoy learning about their different senses through new weekly science experiments. They will take this knowledge and gain a better understanding of how these senses impact their bodies.
