Volunteer Objectives

D. O. T. S. for Kids supports students who need volunteer/observation hours in order to apply to Occupational Therapy School.  During the 12- to 16-week opportunity, volunteers will gain 50-plus hours working 2-3 hours on 1-2 days a week. This opportunity offers observation and hands-on experience working with children in the outpatient/private school setting. Due to the small nature of our practice, this is the only volunteering/shadowing opportunity offered. Please do not contact the clinic regarding other shadowing interests. Patient care is our first priority; therefore, volunteer opportunities are limited and scheduled on a not to interfere basis.
