Meet the Staff

Amy Saba Ornelas, OTR

Director/Owner

Amy graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2002.  She has over 14 years of clinical experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Amy is very involved in the pediatric community and  was an Adjutant Professor at the School of Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.  Amy founded D. O. T. S. for Kids in 2008 and has managed the clinic’s transformation into a multi-disciplinary practice offering occupational, physical and speech therapy services.

 

Kristin Borho, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Hartford in 2004. After graduation she spent four years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in New York, providing both school and clinic based therapy for children with a broad range of physical and developmental disabilities.

 

 

 

Linda Shiffer, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Linda graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Before joining D. O. T. S. for Kids, she worked as a staff therapist for Easter Seals of Dallas and the Highland Park School District. Linda has over 10 years of pediatric therapy experience.

 

 

 

Kelsey Sinclair, MOT, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Kelsey graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science.  In 2013, she graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master of Occupational Therapy.  She has been working with children in some capacity for over 9 years, coaching ice skating, volunteering, and working as a handwriting tutor with D. O. T. S. 

 

 

 

Darby Henry

Darby Henry, MS-SLP, CCC

Speech-Language Pathologist

Darby received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas.  She began her career in an Early Childhood Intervention in Seattle, WA working with children from birth to 3 years old.  Upon returning to Dallas, she spent three years in the Carrollton – Farmers Branch ISD working with preschool and elementary aged children.  During this time, she also worked with elementary to middle school aged children at KidsCare Therapy in the home health setting.  She has spent the previous three years at Oak Hill Academy in Dallas working with children ranging in age from preschool through middle school.

Taylor Bank, MS-SLP, CCC

Speech-Language Pathologist

Taylor graduated  from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Masters in Communications Disorders in 2012.  In addition to working at part-time at D. O. T. S. for Kids, she is a full-time staff Speech Therapist at The Shelton School.
